3. Mounting Instructions :

Step 1. Pick out the unit from the packaging box.

Step 2. Unscrew the 4 screws as shown in the image above to open the enclosure.

Step 3. Break in the rubber grommet (attached to Top enclosure lid) with some sharp object.

Step 4. Pass the required no of wires through opening (based on configuration) as represented in above image.

Once the configuration mode is known, pick the Pluggable terminal connector provided in the box.
Observe the orientation of connector. The screw terminal should be facing the user.
Now follow the connection diagram (as per the section 4) and screw in the wires to the pluggable terminal connector with the help of screw driver provided in box.

Step 6. Verify all the connections done before moving to next step.
• Make sure all the cables are passed through “Top enclosure Lid” (as shown in above image)
• Verify the connection and the sequence of wires plugged into pluggable terminal connector.
WARNING : The wiring done in reverse orientation can damage the device!

Step 7. Plug in the pluggable terminal connector into device terminal connector.

Step 8. Close the enclosure with the help of screws as shown in above image.

Mounting of device on wall:
Pick out below items provided in the box
• NUOS Drill template
• Wall plugs
• Mounting screws (ISO #6, 25mmL, PAN (+))
Use the drill template to drill two holes on the wall.
Insert wall plugs, and secure the enclosure with two screws as shown in above image.
4. Configurations :
It can support 2 modes of configuration. The connection of wires will differ based on the selected configuration. To ensure proper setup and functionality, refer to the configurations listed below and follow the specified wiring instructions corresponding to your chosen mode.
4.1 Configuration 1 : Standalone Spintly Controller

4.2 Configuration 2 : Spintly Reader with Controller
Installation type : New install (OSDP enabled)
This controller can be installed with below models of UNO
- SU-016
- SU-013(V2)
- Make sure the interface switch on reader is toggled to “O” (OSDP) position (for Model No : SU-016)
- Below mentioned 4 wires should be connected from Reader to the respective terminal of Controller (as shown in below Fig 4.2)
- Power wires — VIN and GND
- Communication wires — Connect RS485 A and RS485 B (refer the color code shown in the above table 4.2) to the A and B terminal of the controller respectively. Refer reader manual for more details.
- Connect the locking mechanism and sensor inputs (Door sensor and REX) to controller.
